Australia's health
Australia's health is biennial publication on the health of Australians by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. It is a mix of short statistical summaries and long-form articles exploring topical health issues. Australia’s health also serves as a ‘report card’ on the health of Australians.
The health status section covers and overview of chronic conditions, while the determinants of health section explores the determinants that can affect the health of individuals and the community. These include:

• overweight and obesity

• tobacco.
This digital publication includes data insights, topic summaries and 'in brief' sections. Last published in 2024, Australia's health 2026 will be published in July 2026.
